1. Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service form an agreement between you and ToolTrace when you visit our website, create an account, use an API or free tool, or purchase a subscription. If you use ToolTrace for a company or organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms for it.
2. ToolTrace services
ToolTrace provides web data APIs, SEO and website analysis tools, documentation, dashboards, and related services. Features, limits, supported formats, and availability may change as we improve the service.
3. Accounts and API keys
You must provide accurate account information and keep your password, sessions, and API keys secure. You are responsible for activity performed through your account and keys. Tell us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. Acceptable use
You may use ToolTrace only for lawful purposes and according to our Acceptable Use Policy. You must have a lawful basis and any necessary permission to request, store, or process data. You must respect privacy rights, intellectual property, access restrictions, and applicable laws.
5. Subscriptions and secure Polar checkout
Paid subscriptions are purchased through Polar's secure checkout. Polar acts as the Merchant of Record and authorized reseller. Polar, together with its payment processing partners, handles payment details, applicable sales taxes, receipts, and billing operations. ToolTrace does not receive or store your full card number.
The price, currency, billing frequency, plan limits, and renewal terms are shown before checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically at the disclosed interval until canceled. You can manage your subscription, payment method, invoices, and cancellation through ToolTrace billing controls or the Polar customer portal.
6. Cancellation and refunds
You may cancel at any time. Unless stated otherwise, cancellation prevents the next renewal and access continues until the end of the paid period. Refund eligibility is governed by our Refund Policy, applicable law, and Polar's buyer terms.
7. Credits and plan limits
API credits and other usage allowances are licensed for the applicable billing period. They have no cash value, cannot be transferred, and normally expire at the end of the period unless a plan says otherwise.
8. Service output and availability
Public websites can change, block access, rate limit requests, return inaccurate information, or become unavailable. ToolTrace output may be incomplete or unsuitable for a particular decision. You are responsible for reviewing important results before relying on them.
9. Intellectual property
ToolTrace and its original software, design, documentation, branding, and website content are protected by intellectual property laws. You retain rights in data you submit and in your own applications. You grant us only the rights reasonably needed to process requests, operate the service, prevent abuse, and provide support.
10. Third-party services
ToolTrace may rely on third-party infrastructure and services, including Polar for commerce and billing. Those providers may apply their own terms and privacy practices.
11. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to address non-payment, unlawful activity, abuse, material breach, or a threat to customers or infrastructure. When practical, we will provide notice and an opportunity to correct the issue.
12. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ToolTrace is provided on an "as available" basis without implied warranties. Nothing excludes a warranty or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ToolTrace will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential loss. Our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid through Polar during the six months before the event giving rise to the claim.
14. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Before formal proceedings, both parties agree to make a good-faith effort to resolve a dispute. Subject to mandatory consumer rights in your country, courts with appropriate jurisdiction in Pakistan will have jurisdiction over unresolved disputes.
15. Changes
We may update these terms to reflect service, legal, security, or operational changes. We will update the effective date and provide reasonable notice of material changes when appropriate.
