4. Payment information and Polar
Paid purchases use Polar's secure checkout. Polar acts as the Merchant of Record and handles payment details, taxes, invoices, refunds, and subscription billing with its payment processing partners. ToolTrace receives billing references and subscription information needed to manage your plan. ToolTrace does not receive or store your full payment card number.
5. How we use information
We use information to provide services, authenticate accounts, manage API keys, measure usage, apply limits, process subscription changes, provide support, diagnose failures, prevent abuse, improve product quality, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information.
